Can we help you ? Shuffleboard tournaments are great fun. Teams of three players. No previous experience necessary. Simple rules. Everyone can play. No age or gender advantage. You arrange the venue and host the event. We provide the shuffleboards and run the tournament. Because we are confident that you will thoroughly enjoy playing shuffleboard and want to repeat the experience we provide free shuffleboard hire at your first event. How to host a successful event (tick list): 1 Find an appropriate venue. For example: hotel/pub function room, village hall, community or leisure centre, church or school hall, club room. 2 Check our availability before you confirm the date for your event. 3 Sell tickets well in advance of the event. This will give you some idea of the numbers proposing to attend. 4 Make certain that the venue has enough tables (sized 6’ by 3’ or 5’ by 2’6”) for the required number of shuffleboards. 5 Make certain that you have enough space to accommodate the shuffleboard tables, scorer’s chair by each table and social seating for all players in one large area. The number of shuffleboards required will depend on the number of people playing. For example – with 54 players you can use 9 or 6 shuffleboards. If you use 9 boards, teams will be coded A1 to A9 and B1 to B9. If you use 6 boards teams become A1 to A6, B1 to B6 and C1 to C6. Still confused? Then telephone 01273 564375
